Here's What's Happening:

Friday, November 28

6:00 p.m. - Friday Sundown dinner.

7:00 p.m. - Friday Sundown Service. We'll explore the idea of "following your own star home" to find out what we all need in our spiritual lives to both anchor us and move us forward. Please call the church office if you would like to attend.

Sunday, November 30

10:30 a.m. - Social Action Sunday worship service: "Generosity," with Rev. Arline Conan Sutherland. Our service will explore the concept of generosity through music, readings, and reflection, while our children and youth find out "Watt's a Kid to Do?" through special activities with energy, sustainability, and conservation. Nursery care provided for infants and toddlers. Primary Cluster meets as usual.

No Coming of Age or Youth Groups.

Sunday, December 7

Holiday Swap Table. Turn trash into treasure! Bring unwanted wedding, birthday, and holiday gifts for the swap table. Items should be "smaller than a breadbox," in good, usable condition, and should appeal to adults or children. During social hour, find a treasure and take it home. Remember, this is a SWAP. If you bring something in, be sure and find something to take home.

4:00 p.m. - Dan Fenn reads A Christmas Carol in Parker Hall.

Saturday, December 13

8:00 p.m. - Halalisa Singers Holiday Concert, "Raisins and Honey: Sweet Songs of Celebration." The concert will feature Conrad Susa's "Carols and Lullabies of the Southwest" as well as holiday music from Africa, England, Israel, Mexico and Spain with guitar, harp and marimba accompaniment. Mary Neumann is Artistic Director. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors and can be purchased online at www.halalisa.org.
