Reverend Arline Conan Sutherland
The Rev. Arline Conan Sutherland has been practicing the art of Interim Ministry since the spring of 2003. In that time she has served our congregations in Bellevue WA, Hartford CT, Ft. Myer FL, and most recently Wilmington DE. When asked what she likes best about First Parish in Lexington, Arline answered, "The deep caring the congregation holds for one another and the commitment they demonstrate to this historic faith community. The fun they have being together!"
Before joining the Guild of Interim Ministers, Rev. Sutherland served the Winchester Unitarian Society for 13 years. That congregation ordained her in 1989. She holds the M.Div from Harvard University and a BA in European History from Arizona State University.
Rev. Sutherland lives with her husband, Jeff, in Davis Square. The couple has two grown sons and two grandsons.
